CPU Upgrades

Slot 1 upgrade is designed for 100MHz FSB Pentium II, Celeron, and
Pentium III slot-1 (S.E.C.C.) systems and is only for use with single-
processor systems.

Socket 370 upgrade, successor to the is a lower-cost "DIY" socket
adapter that may be safely used on Socket-370 motherboards that use
the Intel i815 chipset, revision "B"*. CPU core voltage selection is pre-set
to 1.55v and cannot be changed. The FSB bus-speed is selectable via
jumper between 100 MHz and 133 MHz.

Note:     Compatibility may vary. Some untested systems and
motherboards may have issues - check our compatibility list or submit
your system info before purchasing.

* Which chipset do you have? To find out, e-mail a request for our CPU
UPGRADE FINDER. Note the chipset type and revision on the
"Mainboard" tab. If you've got the Intel i815/E/EP series chipset revision
"B", you can use the Socket 370 adapter. Revision "A" of the i815 chipset
and all other chipsets may not be compatible with the adapter.

family! The patented socket allows Socket-423 Williamette Pentium 4
motherboards to upgrade to Socket-478 Pentium 4 processors, such as

This economical upgrade adapter kit allows you to upgrade older AMD
Athlon/Duron-based systems to the latest AMD Athlon XP CPUs. The front
side bus of the system no longer is a factor. This is accomplished by
altering the multiplier while leaving the FSB the same. This method of
“Right-Clocking” allows 200 MHz FSB systems to use a 400 MHz FSB
based CPU and still operate at full speed. By increasing the multiplier the
same overall speed can be attained.
